Owner of the 2nd generation 'A Federico Painting Co', started painting and paperhanging in 1978 with his father (when he was just a teenager), working as a part time apprentice for the company. In 1980, upon graduating from Washington Twp. high school, Anthony began to work full time for the company and continued to work for the company for five years, until tragedy struck, and Anthony Federico Sr. passed away at the young age of 45 year old. Anthony Jr. being only 23 years old at the time, felt that he was too young to handle the responsibilities of owning the business, so the A. Federico Painting Co, went out of business and Anthony got a job working for a Cherry Hill painting contractor named Almark Painting Company.
In 1986, Anthony left Almark Painting Company and joined the Philadelphia Painters Union, (District Council #21). While as a union member, he perfected his skills by working on various jobs such as; Limerick Nuclear Power Plant, Franklin Mills Mall, Woodbridge Mall, Exton Mall, Nazareth Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical Center, University of Pennsylvania Hospital, St. Joseph’s University, Drexel College, The Provident National Bank and Conrail Law Offices to name a few. Additionally, he participated in many Center City Philadelphia Office renovations. Anthony was now a Journeyman! In 1989, he made the decision to leave the Painters Union and re-kindle his father's Company, graduating from being a painter/paperhanger employee, to being a full time business owner.
Sherry Fisher: a graduate of The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, joined the A. Federico Painting Co. team in 2012, after spending numerous years working as an artist for “The Fort Lauderdale SunSentinel” newspaper, then a career change to a lead Cake decorator position at a local bakery and quickly moving up to the department management at her store. With her combined experience in art, customer service, and extensive training in all aspects of the painting trade, by Anthony himself, Sherry (with her, diversity, enthusiasm and dedicated work ethic), has become a valuable asset to A. Federico Painting Co.
